Pumps type D (VS1 design) and P (VS3 design)
D pumps (VS1 design) and P pumps (VS3 design) are vertical, single- or multi-stage diagonal D pumps and single-stage P propeller pumps in single- and double-ceiling versions. Designed for pumping clean water or water with small amounts of impurities at temperatures up to 60 °C.
The (D, P) range is available in API-free versions for power plant requirements and general industrial specifications and in the API 610 version (VS1 type) for the oil and gas industry and the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU (in the scope of Group II, category 2G and 3G).
Layout & Construction Principles
Vertical Diagonal & Axial Flow
Vertical, with diagonal (VS1) or axial (VS3) flow, with a suction funnel immersed in the pumped liquid, or with a stub connected with an expansion joint to the inlet channel.
Heavy-Duty Thrust & Shaft Guidance
The pumped liquid flows through the hydraulic unit and then through a vertical pipe column to the pump outlet elbow along a shaft guided in radial plain bearings (shells) lubricated with the pumped liquid. The thrust forces are transmitted by an oil-lubricated, spherical or Michell type thrust bearing.

Product Features & Key Highlights
They are certified by the National Institute of Hygiene
Possibility of pumping drinking water with verified hygienic safety compliance.
Very long pump life
Extremely durable construction designed for continuous operation lasting even several dozen years.
Hydraulics optimization
Engineered hydraulic profiles designed to maximize pump efficiency across large volume demands.
Shafts protected with protective sleeves
In the area of the stuffing box and plain bearings - optimal and long-lasting operation of bearings and mechanical seals.
Stuffing boxes
Compatible with seal cooperation according to API682, latest edition.
API 610 / ISO 13709
Full compliance with the latest edition of worldwide standards for oil, gas, and power specifications.
Possibility of adapting pump to existing pumping stations
Flexible modular pump length from about 1.5 meters to several meters to fit existing civil infrastructure.
Freely immersing inlet hopper in pumped medium
They do not require supplying the pumped liquid via a suction pipeline, drastically reducing plant footprint.
Dry start capability
Possibility of starting the pump without first wetting the bearings for reliable emergency response.
