Building & Construction Principles
Multistage Rotor Design & Port Positions
Stationary multistage pumps with closed rotors in series, with centrifugal and centripetal blades. The suction port is located horizontally to the right or left, the discharge port is directed upwards.
Axial Force, Bearings & Seals
Axial force transmitted by bearings, reduced by relief holes or vanes. Rolling bearings with grease that do not require cooling. Rope or mechanical shaft seal.
Explosion-Hazardous Environment Capability (Ex Symbol)
OS-AM, OS-B and OS-C pumps marked with the Ex symbol can be used in potentially explosive atmospheres as group I category M2 devices.
